Ideathon – NEW FEATURE FOR 2016!

Delegates were invited to win the chance to see enhancements that would benefit a business, implemented in the next JD Edwards release in the exclusive Ideathon competition held at JDE16!! JD Edwards users with ideas on how to use JD Edwards applications, technology, and tools to solve a strategic business opportunity were encouraged to submit an abstract, initial design, or working solutions detailing the idea.

Submissions were reviewed by the JDE16 conference committee, assessing them based on: their business problem definition, creativity in the solution and potential for use by other customers. The  ideas were then presented to the JD Edwards Executive Team – Lyle Ekdahl, Gary Grieshaber & Bob Monahan - who judged the top solutions & selected a winner! The winning solution will then be given consideration to be included in a future JD Edwards release.

For two days (5th & 6th), the Oracle Applications User Experience team ran one-on-one user feedback sessions. Attendees could participate and give Oracle their thoughts about proposed designs for Oracle Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Their feedback will directly affect the usability of Oracle applications to make them intuitive and easy to use.

Check out this video to hear what Oracle customers and partners have to say about their experiences.
